Overview

Located on a beautiful stretch of the Russian River just north of the town of Forestville, this small 26-acre park is a great spot for picnicking, birding, and viewing river wildlife. Three short trails connect into a loop that runs through redwood forest and along the river through riparian forest and scrub, leading to Steelhead Beach and Children’s Beach. River access for seasonal fishing and launching kayaks and canoes is available, as are picnic areas and a chemical toilet. Trails may be seasonally closed due to winter flooding in the Russian River.
