One of the only Regional Parks offering free parking, this remote and small 49-acre park provides several short hiking-only trails through majestic redwood groves along along Soda Springs Creek. Located about 11 miles east of the Sea Ranch on Hwy 1, this park provides picnic tables and a cinderblock outhouse, but no potable water.
Conifer forests, redwoods, riparian woodlands, creek
Dogs are permitted on leash.
Ignore any online map driving directions from the East that say you can take Rockpile Road from Lake Sonoma to Annapolis – portions of Rockpile road are now privately owned and closed to public access. Instead take Skaggs Springs/Stewarts Point Road to Annapolis Road, or Hwy 1 along the coast to Annapolis Road.
Also, note the last 3 miles to the park are on unpaved dirt/gravel roads.
