Overview

These two separate trails (Pinnacle Gulch and Shorttail Gulch), each a moderately steep short walk down to sandy coves, dramatic cliffs, and interesting rock formations with beautiful views of Bodega Head and Point Reyes from the beach, can be hiked as a 1.9-mile loop at lower tides. Day use parking is available at the Pinnacle Gulch trailhead, located in a housing sub-division off of Hwy 1, just south of the town of Bodega Bay. A restroom is located at the parking lot of Pinnacle Gulch Trailhead.
