Overview
One of the newest Regional Park land offers a popular 1-mile loop through a revitalized salt marsh that provides habitat for wildlife and birds, including Canada Geese, Snowy Egrets, White and Blue Heron, Ducks and many others. Great views of adjacent Doran Beach Park, Doran Marsh, Bodega Bay and Harbor, as well as Bodega Head, can be had on all but the foggiest of days. Access to the park is either from the parking lot, located off Hwy 1 at the south end of the town of Bodega Bay, or at the southern trailhead, located at the northeastern boundary of Doran Beach Park. Picnic sites and a chemical toilet are provided.
