Soda Springs Reserve

Overview

One of the only Regional Parks offering free parking, this remote and small 49-acre park provides several short hiking-only trails through majestic redwood groves along along Soda Springs Creek. Located about 11 miles east of the Sea Ranch on Hwy 1, this park provides picnic tables and a cinderblock outhouse, but no potable water.

Directions

Ignore any online map driving directions from the East that say you can take Rockpile Road from Lake Sonoma to Annapolis – portions of Rockpile road are now privately owned and closed to public access. Instead take Skaggs Springs/Stewarts Point Road to Annapolis Road, or Hwy 1 along the coast to Annapolis Road.

Also, note the last 3 miles to the park are on unpaved dirt/gravel roads.
